Lawyer Gianluigi Di Napoli

After serving in the Carabinieri from 1992 to 2002 as a “Maresciallo”, he dedicated himself to the legal profession and in 2003 founded the DV law firm with Mr. Robert Via.

He carries out academic collaboration activities as Subject Expert in Trade Union and Industrial Relationship Law at the University of Bergamo, Department of Law.

He deals with labour law, commercial transactions and contracts, including international ones, providing assistance to companies aimed at structuring sales and distribution networks in Italy and abroad, as well as in tender contracts.

In the field of employment law, he assists international companies and small and medium-sized companies, as well as cooperative organisations, also acting as an employment consultant pursuant to Law 12/1979.

His work as a lawyer and employment consultant has allowed him to deepen and broaden his expertise in personnel management, developing a 360-degree view of this sector and the perspectives that touch on both legal aspects and those of an administrative nature and labour cost analysis.

In this field, he provides day-by-day consultancy for 360-degree personnel management, supporting company management in solving complex daily problems connected to labour dynamics and costs.

In particular, it deals with employment agreements, national and foreign secondments, company policies of various issues, including smart working and ex art. 4 of the Workers' Statute, whistleblowing, incentive plans, reorganisations, staff downsizing, unemployment insurance, welfare policies and labour litigation.

It provides assistance in assessing the labour law implications of relocation, transfer, outsourcing and outsourcing operations ( transfers within national borders, abroad, or internal or external labour-intensive contracts) and in certifying the relevant contracts at authorised commissions.

He provides assistance to companies and executives or managing directors in the management of the employment relationship, dealing with the stipulation of executive contracts and management agreements, stock option plans, stock grants, etc., as well as the management of the termination phase of the relationship.

He has gained strong experience in corporate restructuring transactions, including those during business crises, in the context of second-level collective bargaining, as well as in due diligence transactions, related to M&A transactions, for which he provides support in business transfers, acquisitions and disposals.

He deals with litigation in the aforementioned matters.
